The Newest Way to get your Vitamin C

The mandora – a mandarin/regular-orange hybrid – is now being imported from the Mediterranean isle of Cyprus. Mandoras have a bright orange skin and sweet-yet-tangy orange-red pulp. Grab an extra napkin when you peel and eat one because they’re superjuicy – 60 percent juice, to be exact. Like the orange, a mandora contains about 65 calories. It also provides about 70 percent of your recommenced daily vitamin-C intake. Hurry Mandoras are only in season until April.
